The shoemaker's shop "Zvonimir" is situated in Zagreb, Dalmatinska 12.
The shop was founded in 1948 by Mr Vinko Topol. From 1978 it was owned by Mr Zvonimir Simonović and since 1999 it has been taken over by his daughter Nataša Trinajstić.

The "Zvonimir" shop is a traditional workshop making ladies' custom made shoes in small series. The footwear is hand made from selected leather and other natural materials (flax, silk, tweed and similar). The design of our pumps, sandals, soft-soled slippers, boots and other shoes follows the latest fashion trends and wishes of our regular clients. The standard size of the footwear is from 34-42; but certain models can also be made in larger sizes up to 44.

The customers can choose the colour of the leather, the hight of the heels and any additional special forms of their shoes, boots or sandals. And according to their special wishes shoes are made especially for them.

 

Zvonimir shoemakers have also made footwear for different theater productions like "The Karolina Riječka", the Miss World Contest and The Enrico Coveri Fashion Show in 1999. Zvonimir has also taken part in setting up the exhibition "What Good Shoes!" in "The Walk through the History of Footwear" at the Ethnographic Museum in Zagreb.

Zvonimir traditionally takes part in all fashion shows organized by the Trade Association Zagreb, especially in "The Golden Needle" - a traditional annual Zagreb Trade Fashion Show. The footwear collection for the fashion brand "Mak" from Split was made for the 69th "Golden Needle" in 2004. We have also accepted the invitation of the British-Croatian Society based in London and took part in the fashion show organized at "The Battersea Arts Center" on 26th November 2004.
